The next UUCP Book Discussion Group meeting will be in Annex B at 9:00am on Sunday, May 12. The group will discuss Chapters Five and Six in The Pursuit of Happiness: How Classical Writers on Virtue Inspired the Founders and and Defined America by Jeffrey Rosen. Chapter Five is titled, “Frugality.” Chapter Six is titled, “ Sincerity.”
The founding fathers were inspired by reading the classics to lead virtuous lives, lives of good character. Did they meet those standards?
