Help Us Close the Gap in Our Giving!

In order to act in all the ways that support our values, we need to support ourselves, including our staff, to be able to make our programming a reality and fulfill our commitments to our community. We are working on a zero balance budget and making sacrifices in order to live into the budget and prepare to renew our commercial credit line which includes our mortgage. We all agree that we would like to do more. But first we must meet our budget goal.

Book Discussion: Russians Among Us

Sunday, July 7 - 9:00am MST The next UUCP  Book Discussion Group will be in Room 11 at 9:00am on Sunday, July 7. The group will discuss chapters Sixteen through Nineteen of Russians Among Us: Sleeper Cells, Ghost Stories and the Hunt for Putin’s Spies by Gordon Corera.   Assassinations, dead drops, double agents, illegals embedded in the United States for decades.

After 39 years, the Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly of Member Congregations voted Saturday with 80% of the Gathered Delegates (including my vote) to adopt Justice, Equity, Transformation, Pluralism, Inclusion and Generosity–with Love in the Center as our Statement of Values.  This is the “Article 2” that we’ve been discussing for the last two years.

Ride needed

A UU who has moved here from Seattle is looking for a ride on Sundays. They are disabled from a stroke and cannot drive, live in north Scottsdale near the Princess, and have a service dog who will come also. If you are interested in possibly helping, please contact the Caring Ministry Team for more information.
