Just a quick update to let everyone know that UUCP has officially become a Good Trouble Congregation!!
This means that we hit 100% of our goal in at least four of the categories of UU the Vote.
Here are our results:
- We sent out 6,744 Letter & Postcards (101%)
- We sent out a whopping 72,846 Texts (115%)
- We collected 925 ballot Initiative signatures (230%)
- We volunteered 8 hours Voter Protection Category (200%)
These were very aggressive goals and we hit the ball out of the park!
We have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season and one of them is being part of such an active congregation where UU values show up in our actions. We are so proud of everyone!
We are looking at having a celebration in January; stay tuned.
