There are times we need more than a hug from a friend, and in a congregation our size, it is not always possible for the minister to provide a pastoral care presence for every congregant in need.
Caring Ministry Team is a ministry of being present and listening, rather than counseling, doing, or fixing. Specially trained Caring Ministry Team Associates, under the guidance of Rev. Christine Dance, extend our ability to provide a confidential, caring presence to congregants undergoing stressful life challenges.
Caring Ministry Team Associates:
- Listen deeply
- Respect you, care about you, and value what you confide
- Support you in finding your own answers
- Honor your privacy and confidentiality
- Provide a compassionate and confidential space
They assist Rev. Dance during times of:
- Extended illness or hospitalization
- Stress
- Loss or life transition
- At other times, to extend the being arm of our caring ministry to congregants
