This month we will have our first meeting on Monday, June 12, in person at UUCP. Our June theme for Navigators will be abolition. We will be meeting up in the Abolition Classroom in Annex A. Our group will look at a couple of the exercises in the room, complete at least one and do a reflection as a group. We hope you can make it!
You might ask why our scouting group is talking about abolition. Well the answer is, since we are an alternative to mainstream scouting, we look at ways to be anti-racist and more inclusive. Utilizing tools of the abolitionist movement is how we will be doing that this month.
