Funding cuts for education are being made at federal and state levels. Art and music programs are typically the first to suffer. So we are holding and on-going drive for donations of art-worthy items to give to the Art Resource Center (ARC) in Tempe.
Like Treasures for Teachers, the ARC gives away to teachers, artists and members of 501c3’s most items donated. For more valuable items they request some monetary donation.
Summer is a great time to clean out closets and craft boxes. Please bring labelled bagged or boxed items to the Civic Engagement/Earth Justice tables at the back of the Sanctuary.
