    Augmented Reality Update

Our UUCP teens have been learning Augmented Reality via the Hoverlay App. Our first teen project we have to share is from Nigel Perez. In his Hoverlay video you can learn about his bond with the basketball court on campus. We have included a QR code which you can scan with a smartphone camera to be directed to his video and music he made. You will be prompted to download the Hoverlay app before viewing the video.

Our teens will continue to learn and publish more Hoverlay spaces this fall. It is not too late for any of our teens to join the program. We look forward to sharing more memories and special moments from our teens via Augmented Reality with you in the future.

Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen, nobody knows my sorrow”Singing the Living Tradition, Hymn 99

For some, centering joy and celebration makes the holiday season a difficult time to honor loss, loneliness, sorrow, and grief. Come, let go of holiday “shoulds” and move through the season in a small group community.

Through ritual framed by music, readings, quiet, and shared remembrance, this gathering will invite letting go of holiday “shoulds” and provide a community of support during the season. After these Wednesday sessions, UUCP will have a Blue Holiday service on Thursday, December 15. Those attending will decide whether to meet December 21 as well.
