Ordination is a special privilege of UU congregations. We have the honor of being asked to ordain our wonderful intern, Brigitta Vieyra, once she has obtained the necessary UUA credentials.
Your Board of Trustees will be holding a special brief congregational meeting on Sunday, November 19, immediately following worship. You will be asked to vote to approve Brigitta’s ordination, which will be celebrated on January 27, 2024.
We need at least 50 members present in person or on Zoom to approve the ordination. The link will be the same as for the worship service: Zoom: 839 5145 8968
The Board will also share information about our preschool tenants during this meeting.
Get To Know UUCP is an opportunity to meet with members and (usually) the minister to learn about our community and its programs.
Join us in person in Room 11 at noon after the service.
“Starting Point” is a four-hour gathering designed for people new to UUCP. You can share your own background and interests and learn about the many ways we engage with each other and the wider community. That can involve doing, (e.g., volunteering) and sharing/listening (e.g., small group discussions).
Starting Point includes an opportunity to discuss an interesting question and experience how our Small Groups foster meaningful sharing and connection. We will also briefly discuss the membership process, but the focus is on getting connected.
Our next gathering will be in person, Saturday, April 27, from 9:00am to 1:00pm on the UUCP campus. Please register below.

Starting Point includes an opportunity to discuss a thought-provoking question as we do in our Small Groups so you can experience what that is like. We will also briefly discuss the membership process, but the focus is on getting connected.
