Night-times will soon heat up to unhealthful levels. Keys to Change, the downtown campus that helps the homeless, has some specific items it needs right now. Earth Justice will collect these requested items for Keys through May and June:
“We could use underwear, socks, shoes, sandals, sun hats and caps in adult sizes, cooling towels, sunscreen and spf lip balm. We have an abundance of tee shirts already, but the rest we are in dire need of.”
Please bring only new underwear, lip balm and sunscreen. All other items may be lightly used and clean. If you can bring them already bagged or boxed and labelled for “Keys to Change” that helps. These can be left with anyone at the Civic Engagement/Earth Justice tables in the Sanctuary. Thank you.
