Our wallets are one of the most powerful tools we have in the fight for economic justice. Corporations and billionaires thrive on our spending, but when they prioritize greed over people, it’s time to hit them where it hurts—their bottom line.
Many of the corporations being targeted have eliminated Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, slashed fair hiring practices, and abandoned vendor diversity initiatives. They are actively working against the very principles that ensure opportunity, fairness, and economic mobility for all. At the same time, they continue to underpay workers while raking in record profits, dodging taxes, and funding policies that harm our communities.
We refuse to support businesses that dismantle progress. Economic blackouts and targeted boycotts are a direct response to corporate overreach, worker exploitation, and the erasure of DEI initiatives. By refusing to spend our hard-earned dollars at businesses that undermine economic justice, we send a clear message: we won’t fund our own oppression.
