A bill called the “Save Act” has been introduced in the US Senate. If it passes, it will add many obstacles to voting. For example, a passport or birth certificate would be required to vote, many rural voters would be forced to travel hours to vote, and a person’s last name would be required to match the one on their birth certificate.
