Rev. Christine Dance will be teaching Introduction to Small Group Facilitating on January 9 at 7:00pm. The class will be available both in person and on Zoom. Small groups are the backbone of this community and essential to keeping folks connected. We truly need more small group facilitators if we are going to offer more small group opportunities.
This is a great way to get involved with a manageable level of commitment. Leading a small group is richly rewarding and can lead to lifelong friendships. As a leader of a small group, you get to decide when, where, and how often that group will meet.
Taking the class does not commit you to becoming a small group facilitator; however, we are hoping that it might lead to that outcome.
We will be using our Owl technology that allows us to have a hybrid meeting where both people in the room as well as those on Zoom can effectively participate in the class. People who attend in person must be masked.
