For most of our worship services beginning in the spring of 2020, we have video recordings of the full worship service and of just the sermon available for you to watch.

Preemptive Radical Inclusion

Led by: CB Beal
Worship Associate: Oliver Migliore
Music: Choir

Stories and reflections on the framework of Preemptive Radical Inclusion as an entryway to increase equity and justice among ourselves and in the world; a way we embody Beloved Community.

Bear Witness: Save Lives

Led by: CB Beal
Worship Associate: John LaBarbera
Music: Band

Stories and reflections about the spiritual practice of bearing witness, a vital part of the Beloved Community. We must be able to trust that people will be still and bear witness to us, acknowledge and accept what we share. We must be present with one another with curiosity, acceptance, and empathy that honors our different life experiences.

Flower Communion and Stewardship End

Led by: Katie Resendiz
Worship Associate: Amy McKlindon
Music: Choir

Celebrate beauty, diversity, and community at our annual Flower Communion service! This beloved Unitarian Universalist ritual, created by Rev. Norbert Čapek in 1923, reminds us of our interconnectedness and the unique gifts we each bring to our shared life. During the service, we’ll reflect on the history of Flower Communion and take part in the ritual itself—each person will bring a flower to contribute and receive a different one in return, symbolizing the exchange of love and support within our community. Bring a flower (or a few to share!), and join us for this joyful and meaningful tradition!

Where are the Prophets?

Led by: Deontez Wimbley
Worship Associate: Blake Rushing

The message will explore the prophet Miriam and connect her to the story of Mahalia Jackson. We hope to encourage everyone to understand that they, too, can be prophets that help *sing* truth to power. We are intentionally uplifting women prophets on this first Sunday in Women's History month.
