UUCP’s service on Sunday, April 10, will feature the contemporary songwriting of vocalist Holly Pyle. Holly was a favorite vocalist and songwriter in Phoenix for many years, leading the dreamy progressive jazz/soul band House of Stairs, and performing solo shows that used live looping to create elaborate and dynamic vocal arrangements. She now lives in Los Angeles, but returns to Phoenix occasionally, and we’re lucky to have her with us on one of those trips. Here’s a live looping video she created in 2020.
