Katie Brown

Katie Brown moved to Phoenix in 2022 from Seattle, but has lived in several states on both coasts. Settling in Phoenix to be closer to her family, Katie Brown, or KB, lives on the same property as her sister, brother-in-law, and 3 and 5 year old niece and nephew, serving as a diligent member of the village that is helping to raise the 2 kiddos. She loves her role as “RaRa,” playing games on her Nintendo Switch with her nephew, or playing “babies” with her niece. When she’s not helping with the kids, she works as a systems engineer for a government contracting company, hunched over her computer at home, drawing little diagrams and writing little documents that get pushed around important people’s email inboxes. When she’s not doing either of those things, she loves watching historical dramas, working on whatever craft is providing her dopamine at the moment (embroidery? Collaging? Watercolors?), doing puzzles, eating vegan junk food, listening to audiobooks, and building community with other neurodivergent, queer humans.

Nancy Bujold

I am a retired librarian and a snowbird from Michigan. I have two daughters, two granddaughters, one son-in-law and two granddogs here in Arizona. I enjoy bios, film, birding and travel.

Brian and Linda Clague

Brian and Linda Clague, are Arizona part-timers dividing their time between Scottsdale in the winter and Long Beach, California in the summer. Brian and Linda met and raised their children in Fresno California where Brian had a Neurosurgical practice and Linda had a career in Recreation Administration. Both Brian and Linda came from a Roman Catholic Church background and while that setting provided a supportive childhood experience they are seeking a more just, socially conscious, kind and inclusive spiritual experience. Brian and Linda are delighted to have found UUCP and are looking forward to meeting new people and becoming involved in the congregation

Julia Marie Dalehite

Julia is originally from Kansas but has spent over half her life in the Phoenix area. She’s done everything from testing video games to writing software for hospitals, radiology clinics, hotels, and the state of Arizona.

In her free time she enjoys reading with her son, baking, playing games with her partner, and spending time at the family cabin in Mormon Lake.

Vince Leone

My name is Vincent Leone. I was born in Los Angeles, CA, and raised in Hawthorne, CA, the hometown of the Beach Boys. I currently reside in Laveen. I am a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and have been with American Airlines at Sky Harbor International Airport for the past 26 years. In addition to my career in aviation, I am a musician known as Dynamomin, with my music available on Spotify, Apple Music, and various online platforms. I am thrilled to embark on this new journey with UUCP.

Vic Quiros

Born and raised in New York, Vic served in the Air Force from 1967 to 1971. He then went to (Electrical) Engineering school, graduated in 1974 and moved to Arizona for his first job. He spent most of his career designing electronics and writing software for process control and instrumentation. Later in his career he turned to teaching, first in college and then in industry. His passions are playing and teaching the game of bridge, traveling and choral singing. As a new member of UUCP. He is excited to join this loving community.

Patti Sparling

I have been a friend of UUCP for over 10 years and consider it to be a very important part of my life. I live and work in Scottsdale and am employed by Hospice of the Valley.

In my spare time I love to read, cook, ride my bike and enjoy the outdoors. I am looking forward to meeting more great UUCP people!
