We had four very qualified Ministerial Interns apply to UUCP for the Internship from August 2025-May 2026. We are delighted that Isaac Castro has accepted our offer. We believe that Isaac will bring his authenticity, his “good trouble” and the many ministerial skills he has already developed.

My name is Isaac Castro (he/him), and I’m so excited to be your incoming Intern Minister. I graduated from STARR King School for the Ministry and am currently finishing up my Chaplain Residency at Onvida Health in Yuma, AZ. This past year, I began working out frequently at Orange Theory Fitness, and my family and I regularly support animal rescues within our communities.
I’m looking forward to growing with UUCP during my time in Phoenix.
I can’t wait to meet you all in person later this year!
